Mayor opens Village Board meeting.

Pledge of Allegiance

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Brozier, Ferrara, and Newhard, Village Clerk Angela Arasim

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of January 4th meeting, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, Discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $28,263.87

Water $15,066.86

Sewer $10,083.97

Trust & Agency $1,564.50

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor reads water/sewer warrant for the 4th quarter of 2016 for $509,741.35, presented by the Village Clerk, and entertains a motion to accept a read; So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Mayor reads resolution regarding the Adoption of Jurisdictional Annex to Dutchess County Hazard Mitigation Plan, and entertains a motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

REPORTS

Building Inspector – Mayor reads report as submitted by Tom Vantine, on file

Fire: Chief Knapp reads report, on file.

Justice report submitted by Court Clerk and read by Mayor

Police report read by Commissioner Scofield, Jr.

Commissioner Scofield letter of commendation regarding actions performed by Office Joel Ingold and Fire Chief Knapp

Water/Sewer: Dave Morrison reads report, on file

Project Coordinator report read by Rad Wilson, on file

Ambulance report for December submitted, on file

Mayor reads new Employee Policy Manual changes regarding compensation time, paid time off (PTO), negative time use, and PTO carryover, and entertains motion to accept changes effective January 17, 2017, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, Trustee Ferrara asks how the employees will be informed of these new changes, Mayor states that they will receive a new copy of the Employee Manual with changes incorporated, no further discussion, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  7:47 pm
