Mayor opens Village Board meeting.

Public Hearing open for 2017-2018 Budget

Mayor opens to floor for comments, no comments Mayor closes Public hearing and opens regular meeting

Present: Mayor Miccio, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Trustees Ferrara, Brozier and Newhard, Village Clerk Angela Arasim

Mayor entertains motion to approve the minutes of April 6th meeting, So Move, Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, none, all in favor, Aye.  Motion carried.

Mayor reads abstracts:

General $34,295.86

Water $92,812.13

Sewer $135,862.68

Trust & Agency $7,999.75

Mayor entertains motion to approve abstracts as read, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried

Mayor entertains motion to accept budget as presented, So Move Trustee Ferrara, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried

Mayor reads water/sewer warrant as presented by Village Clerk for $485,433.89 for the first quarter of 2017 and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.

Mayor reads resignation letter submitted by Village Treasurer Jennifer Hetling and entertains a motion to accept as read, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye. Carried.

Mayor reads the Village Election resolution and entertains motion to accept as read, So Move, Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Ferrara, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried.

Deputy Mayor Phillips recommends Matthew Notero to be hired as a part time police officer; Mayor entertains motion to fire Mr. Notero, So Move Deputy Mayor Phillips, Seconded, Trustee Brozier, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  Carried

Deputy Mayor Phillips moves to adjourn, Seconded Trustee Newhard, discussion, none, all in favor, Aye.  8:10 pm
