Administrative:

Chairman Hans Klingzahn opens the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Roll call: Present: Hans Klingzahn, Cris Phillips, Theresa Cuchelo, Matt Vetare, Reylene VanGeldern. Alternate: Steve Brown. Absent: Alternate Caitlin Brozier. Also present: Tom VanTine,  Code Enforcement Officer and Building Inspector and Don Van Nostrand, Board Secretary.

Chairman Klingzahn entertains a motion to accept the minutes for the meeting held on March 16, 2017. Motion made by Cris Phillips to approve. Motion seconded by, Reylene VanGeldern Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

 

Review:                

          1. The Finer Things Boutique     - 982 Main Street            - Sign Permit Application

              Business Owner not present    - Application rescheduled to May 18, 2017 meeting.

          2. Alan V Tapp, Ph.D.                  - 1012 Main Street         - Sign Permit Application

              Business Owner not present    - Application rescheduled to May 18, 2017 meeting.          

          6. Jackson Crossing, LLC           - 71 & 75 Jackson Street   - Subdivision Extension

              Applicant:                                 - Kelly Libolt                     - KARC Planning Consultants

            Kelly Libolt with KARC Planning Consultants and authorized representative for Jackson

            Crossing requested the last and final subdivision extension approval for the project which would

            end on August 11, 2017. Kelly explained that the reason the project is taking so long is that the

            contractors have run into heavy groundwater and they have to come up with an alternate plan by

            working with the engineers to deal with this problem. Hopefully, this will happen in the next

            week and they can move forward with the project.

            Chairman Klingzahn reads the resolution (on file) prepared by the Village Planner, Sarah

            Brown and entertains a motion.

            Cris Phillips moves to approve the resolution granting a ninety day extension for subdivision

            approval for Jackson Crossing. Motion seconded by Theresa Cuchelo. Discussion none, all in

            favor, Aye. Motion carried.

Next on the agenda Chairman Klingzahn informs the board that the seasonal sidewalk café license application will be reviewed for:

Dutchess Biercafe, Loconda, Eleven/11 Grille, and Tomato Café.

             Chairman Klingzahn entertains a motion on the Eleven/11 Grille sidewalk café license.

             Matt Vetare moves to approve the sidewalk license to Eleven/11 Grille as proposed.

             Motion seconded by Cris Phillips. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.

              It was determined by the board that the three remaining applications would have to

              include the following on the applications: Certificate Holder:

Village of Fishkill

1095 Main Street

Fishkill, NY 12524

               Under description of operations the following statement:

               Certificate holder is added as additional insured per written contract.

              Chairman Klingzahn entertains a motion on the three remaining applications.

               Matt Vetare makes a motion that Tomato Café, Loconda and Dutchess Biercafe on the

               condition that the Village gets the proper documentation. Motion seconded by Theresa

               Cuchelo. Discussion none, all in favor, Aye. Motion carried.
