NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, that on Thursday, February 23, at the Village Hall (Van Wyck Hall), 1095 Main Street, Fishkill New York, at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter is reached on the agenda, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Fishkill will hold a public hearing on the application of Promenade Senior Living LLC for an area variance of Village Zoning Law section 171-63(C), relating to its proposed Assisted Living Facility to be located on a 6.77 acre parcel located at 542 Route 9, Tax Parcel 133001-6255-01-147610, presently occupied by the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center. The parcel is located in the PI zoning District.
Section 171-63(C) of the Village Zoning Law, requires that the proposed facility provide at least 2,000 square feet of site area per patient bed. The Applicant is requesting an area variance to provide 1,265.44 square feet of site area per patient bed, thus requesting a variance of 734.56 square feet from the applicable standard. There is no proposed expansion of the footprint of the existing building.
A copy of the application is on file at the Village Hall and available for inspection during business hours. At the public hearing all interested parties will be heard.
