NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the Village Hall (Van Wyck Hall), 1095 Main Street, Fishkill New York, at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter is reached on the agenda, the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Village of Fishkill will hold a public hearing on an area variance application for the Dutchess Biercafe. Section 171-49.E(1) of the Village Zoning law allows one sign per parcel and the applicant is requesting three additional signs. Section 171-49.C of the Zoning Law requires building-mounted signs to have a maximum vertical dimension of 2 feet and the applicant is requesting a variance for a vertical dimension greater than two feet for two signs. Section 171-49.C of the Village Zoning Law allows up 25 square feet of building mounted signage and the applicant is requesting an additional 51 square feet. The parcel is located at 1097 Main Street and is located in the VC-BD (Village Center Business District) Zoning District.
A copy of the application is on file at the Village Hall and available for inspection during business hours. At the public hearing, all interested parties will be heard.
