The Village of Fishkill Fire Department is a tax-funded fire and rescue service within the Village of Fishkill that provides coverage with a staff of two Chief Officers, one Captain, and three Lieutenants with roughly 40 volunteer firefighters, operating out of one Central Station with 4 pieces of fire apparatus and 2 Command Vehicles.

In addition to traditional firefighting activities, the Department has Emergency Medical Technicians, Certified First Responders, and personnel trained and proficient in other specialized tasks including rescue, rapid intervention, hazardous material mitigation, disaster management, and incident command.
